Morning and afternoon - The traditional morning or afternoon excursions into the private concession are led by professional Nature Hosts and trackers, often yielding close encounters with Africa’s and our planet’s iconic species living in these vast, protected wilderness areas. Guests are encouraged to take along cameras and binoculars for the ultimate game viewing and birding experiences.

One of the greatest joys of any safari must be birdwatching. Whether going in search of the elusive Pel’s fishing owl or watching flocks of queleas take off over grasslands, you will be spoiled for choice as the national parks and reserves we visit in Botswana include wetland, grassland, woodland, savannah, and semi-desert – each one offering a variety of bird species to spot. Approx. 2-3 hours

Viewing any object from a closer perspective reveals a lot more than you originally thought it to be, and the bush is no different! Gain valuable knowledge about the smaller plants, insects and mammals, and

enjoy the opportunity of learning to identify animal tracks in a bush walk around the property. (Children 16 years and older) Approx. 2-3 hours. Must be booked in advance.

Nature Hosts share their passion for nature in search of the area’s smaller natural miracles. Approx 1 hour. (Suitable for the whole family).

Spend the day with your knowledgeable Nature Host exploring the Chobe Corridor. Stop for a picnic breakfast /lunch in the bush. Half/Full day.

Take advantage of being on a private concession and head out after dark for a chance to spot nocturnal wildlife.

Game drive into surrounding safari areas such as Moremi, Chobe, Khwai Full day (includes picnic lunch and various park entry fees). (optional extra).

Experience birdwatching and game viewing from a whole new perspective and enjoy the gentle tranquility of a boat cruise in the Okavango Delta in Botswana, which is our playground. Boat cruises depart from Xakanaxa boat station in Moremi Game Reserve and can be incorporated into full-day trips into the reserve as an added activity, with a return time between 18h00 and 19h00. (optional extra).

Elephant Havens is a nonprofit organisation that rescues orphaned elephants. Learn about their amazing work with the communities and in conservation and get to know the elephants in their care. Can be combined with a helicopter or road transfer (optional extra).
