KaMsholo Bushveld Safaris

Game Drive
(EXTRA)
KaMsholo offers a surprising amount of game, with abundant birdlife. Previously a hunting park, the wildlife disappeared at the first sign of human, but over the 5 years under Big game Parks, the animals have relaxed substantially, and game viewing has improved 100-fold, with truly impressive giraffe sightings being a top favourite. The small park also has a surprising variety of habitat from the open plains to the thicker riverine thickets.
Game Drives are available on KaMsholo for up to 9 guests. Best to prebook to avoid disappointment

Horse Riding
(EXTRA)
Horse Riding by the hour is available on KaMsholo for beginners and experienced riders, where the pace is dictated by the rider's ability (our guides decide this!)
1 - 2 hour Giraffe Ride ride along the dirt tracks and through the bush, and when we come across the giraffe, we spend time observing these magnificent creatures.
3 hour Nguni Mustering ride is a fun activity, beginning with a bush ride, while tracking the beautiful indigenous Nguni cattle. Once found, the Nguni are mustered into the Sibaya (can be a few kilometers, depending where they are found) where they are given a thorough health check by the conservation team. On other days it may simply be a health check during the ride, where the riders weave between the cattle, looking for any potential health issues that will be reported. The cattle are gentle, and incredibly beautiful. Their history and importance are shared by the guide during the ride.

Mashu Hide - Tinsele Camp
Mashu Hide is in a quiet "corner" of Tinsele Camp, where guests may quietly observe wildlife from an elevated position above a small dam rimmed with fever trees. The dam is inhabited by crocodile, and frequented by aquatic birds and all animals that reside in the reserve. The ambience is serene, and guests are welcome to bring a flask of coffee, binoculars and cameras and to sit quietly.
