Inclusions

• Accommodation, all meals, two safari activities per day, beverages (excluding premium brands and cellar wines)
• Return shared transfers from Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport (HDS) at set departure times. Reservations will advise of these times on confirmation of booking

Exclusions

• All other drinks, babysitting, private transfers, gratuities, laundry service, other items of a personal nature
• Conservation levies, gate entrance fees, additional reserve fees if applicable

Minimum Stay

2 nights – 1 night stays on request only. Recommended length of stay is 3 nights.

Payment Policy

• All Direct reservations require a 10% deposit upon booking confirmation, to be paid within 7 days
• Easter Weekend and Festive Season: 25% non-refundable deposit
• Final payment is due 30 days prior to your arrival
• All requests, confirmations, and cancellations are only valid if in writing. Please ensure that you receive an acknowledgment of your cancellation from our Reservations Department. The cancellation fee is a percentage of the full accommodation account

Cancellation Policy

• All cancellations must be made in writing to res@simbavati.com
• Up to 61 days prior to arrival: 10% cancellation fee
• 31 to 60 days prior to arrival: 25% cancellation fee
• 15 to 30 days prior to arrival: 75% cancellation fee
• 14 days prior to arrival: 90% cancellation fee
• All cancellation fees are calculated on the total booking value
• Please note that 100% cancellation fee will be charged if you decide to depart early while staying with us

Child Policy

Simbavati River Lodge and Simbavati Waterside:

• Children of all ages are welcome
• Between 0 – 3 years: no charge and includes all meals
• Between 4 – 11 years: 50% of per person sharing rate when sharing with parents in Family Chalets or Two-Bedroom Luxury Suites
• 12 Years & older sharing with parents in Family Chalets at Simbavati River Lodge: 3rd/4th person rate applicable
• 12 Years & older sharing with parents in Two-Bedroom Luxury Suites at Simbavati Waterside: per person sharing rate applicable
• Child sharing with one parent in a Luxury Safari Tent at Simbavati River Lodge: per person sharing rate applicable
• Children 6 years & over are permitted on game drives

Note: Families with younger children may arrange a private vehicle prior to arrival( subject to availability

Notes and Other Rates

• Festive Season: 21 Dec 2025 to 05 Jan 2026

• Provisional bookings will only be held for 7 days; or 48 hours within 7 days of arrival or if Reservations specifies due to high demand. Thereafter the booking will automatically be released

• For reservations within 15 days of arrival, full payment is required upon confirmation• We reserve the right to cancel the booking if deposit or final payment is not received at the appropriate time
