All rates are in South African Rands (ZAR) and include 15% VAT.
A minimum 2 night stay is required. An exception to this is a 1 night stay in combination with a Chobe Princess or Zambezi Queen houseboat

• Please note fishing excursions are limited to 1 tank of fuel per boat per day

• Price is per person and based on 2 adults sharing in a double/twin room unless otherwise stated. No further discount is applicable for children on this special.
• The Community Development Levy will reflect as a separate line item on all invoices issued. The funds collected supplement our community projects and initiatives run by the Zambezi Queen Collection to assist with education, health care and basic community services. Rates for 2024 are ZAR 100 per person per night

Child Policy: Children of all ages are welcome 

• Children 0 to 3 years are accommodated on a complimentary basis when sharing with 2 adults 
• Children aged 4 to 12 will receive a 50% discount on the applicable adult rate 
• Children aged 13 and older are charged the applicable adult rate
• A 30% single supplement applies to single children not sharing a tent
• Ichingo Chobe River Lodge has 1 family tent which can accommodate 2 adults and up to 2 children aged 12 and under. Family tent is subject to availability at time of booking

Single Supplement Policy: 

• Subject to a 30% single supplement for tents occupied by one adult (limited availability per trip) 

Booking & Payment policy: 

• Provisional reservations will be held for a maximum of 14 days, thereafter it will be automatically released
• Any discrepancies on the confirmation or invoice must be addressed with reservations within 7 days of issue 
• No credit card payments will be accepted for any tax invoices issued to a tour operator or travel agent. All bank charges are for the account of the tour operator or travel agent 

Deposit payments:

FIT (1 – 7 pax):

• 30% deposit is due within 7 days of invoice date
• 70% balance payment is due 60 days prior to arrival 

Group (8 – 26 pax):

• 10% deposit is due within 7 days of invoice date
• A further 40% deposit is due 120 days prior to arrival
• 50% balance payment is due 60 days prior to arrival

Tour Series (Min. of 8 pax for 3 + trips per year):

• 10% deposit is due 180 days prior to arrival
• A further 40% deposit is due 120 days prior to arrival • 50% balance payment is due 60 days prior to arrival

Cancellation Policy:

• Only written cancellations will be accepted. An acknowledgement of the cancellation will be sent from the reservations department
• Ichingo Chobe River Lodge reserves the right to release bookings should payment not be received by the requested date

FIT (1 – 7 pax):

• 30% of fee if cancellation is less than 90 days prior to arrival
• 100% of fee if cancellation is less than 60 days prior to arrival

Group (8 – 26 pax) & Tour Series (Min. of 8 pax for 3 + trips per year): 

• 10% of fee if cancellation is less than 180 days prior to arrival
• 50% of fee if cancellation is less than 120 days prior to arrival
• 100% of fee if cancellation is less than 60 days prior to arrival

Special rates are available for:

• Exclusive use, honeymoon and repeat guests. Available on request

Waiver:

• Available rates and dates are subject to change at management discretion
• Account Holders: Full payment is required within 30 days from travel date and 2.5% interest will apply for late payments. 
• Ichingo Chobe River Lodge reserves the right to withdraw the account facility
• Ichingo Chobe River Lodge retains the right to admit or remove any guests whose behaviour impacts negatively on the hotel property, other guests and/ or staff
