African Safari Collective reserve the right to amend and update these terms and conditions with immediate effect and without notice.

Booking Process

Your booking must be received in writing via e-mail.

Our booking team will send confirmation in writing.

We will hold your booking provisionally for 14 days, thereafter below conditions apply.

Booking Confirmation

Confirmation on payment of non-refundable deposit of 20%

Payment balance 45 days prior to arrival.

Trade – No deposit required – Full payment 45 days prior to arrival.

ASC reserves the right to request deposits or full payment in advance in the case of groups, long stays or high occupancy.

Cancellation Fees:

20%           From confirmation to 46 days prior

50%           31 – 45 days prior

80%           8 – 30 days prior

100%         1 – 7 days prior

All bank deposits are to be received free from bank charges or commissions directly into our bank account.

No credit card transactions will be accepted from 3rdparty service providers.

VAT & Levies

Rates include VAT.

Rates exclude Munyawana Conservancy levies of R165 per person per day.

Travel & Cancellation Insurance

It is the guest’s sole responsibility to ensure that they have full comprehensive travel, medical, vehicle and cancellation insurance.

It is the guest’ responsibility to ensure that their insurance covers any cancellation fees that may arise. ASC will not accept responsibility for any losses incurred.  

Child Policy

Children of all ages are welcome at the lodge.

Aged: 0 - 2 years – free of charge. Children can stay at the lodge during activities and babysitting is available at an extra cost. They are not permitted to go on game drive due to the nature of the activity in a dangerous game area.

Aged: 2 - 6 years – 50% of tariff charged and private vehicle needed to be booked.

Aged: 6 - 12 years – 50% of the tariff when sharing with 2 adults. Children may join game drives but may be requested to book a private vehicle should the guide and management deem it necessary for the enjoyment of other guests.

Aged: 12yrs + pay full rate.

All children will be charged levies during their stay no matter their age.

A child staying with 1 parent – the parent will pay single occupancy and the child will pay 50%.

The camp is unfenced and the communal pool is uncovered so all children will need to be under adult supervision at all times. An extra bed is possible to be added to the Luxury Suite but only a maximum of 2 triples at any one time and a maximum of 20 guests in total.

*No singles in family suites  - double occupancy will be charged
