This small ecological reserve regenerated naturally thanks to the efforts of a group of people concerned about environmental conversation and education for children and adults. This wonderful project has greatly contributed to the sustainable tourist development of La Fortuna.

We will take a circuit path through a secondary forest in regeneration. The trail is suitable for anyone. Along the way, we will discover a botanical garden with more than 600 species of plants, a lot of butterfly up to 40 species around its gardens, areas designated to the natural reproduction of frogs, medicinal plant gardens, and a wetland declared as a site of national importance for the nesting and observation of aquatic birds.
