TERMS & CONDITIONS
Rates are quoted per adult sharing per night, based on a maximum occupancy of 2 adults per suite
The Beach House has 1 x king suite, 1 queen suite, and 1 childrens room with 2 x bunk beds
Definitions:
HB - Half-board: includes accommodation, breakfast and dinner. Any additional expenses are to be settled upon departure
Rates are:
Subject to room and rate availability, and are subject to change without prior notice
Quoted, invoiced and payable in ZAR, and includes 15% VAT
Quoted per person sharing per night, based on a maximum of 2 adults
50% single supplement on the per person sharing rate applies to single occupancy
Children Policy:
Children from 12 years and older are considered adults and will be charged at the applicable rates.
Children 0 to 3 years old are accommodated on a complimentary basis when sharing with 2 adults.
Children 4 to 11 years are accommodated at a 50% supplement of adult sharing rate, when sharing with 2 adults.
Children not sharing with adults (occupying their own room; excluding the Beach House) will be charged at the full adult rate.
Beach House Occupancy:May—October: A minimum occupancy of 4 adults sharing rate is required to book the Beach House; thereafter, the per person sharing rate is applicable.November—April: A minimum occupancy of 6 adults sharing rate is required to book the Beach House; thereafter, the per person sharing rate is applicable.20 December—10 January: A minimum occupancy of 8 adults sharing rate is required to book the Beach House, thereafter, the per child rate is applicable.
Bookings and Payment policy:
Provisional bookings are subject to availability; i.e.should we have limited suites available, only confirmed bookings will be accepted
Provisional bookings are not available to reservations between 20 December to 10 January (travelling dates)
A minimum 2 night stay applies over peak season 20 December to 10 January (travelling dates)
B&B rates are not available over peak season between 20 December to 10 January (travelling dates)
A deposit of 50% is required to confirm a reservation
The full balance is required at least 30 days prior to arrival
Bookings made less than 30 days prior to arrival will be held for a maximum of 72 hours
Bookings made 60 - 90 days prior to arrival will be held for a maximum of 7 working days
Bookings made more than 90 days prior to arrival will be held for a maximum of 14 working days
Any discrepancies on the confirmation or invoice must be addressed with reservations within 7 days of issue
Cancellations:
Only written cancellations will be accepted. Ensure to receive an acknowledgment of cancellations from
reservations
25% of fee if cancellation less than 30 days prior to arrival.
50% of fee if cancellation less than 15 days prior to arrival
100% of fee if cancellation less than 7 days prior to arrival
Group: Deposit and Payment
This policy applies to bookings of eight (8) or more adults
A 25% non-refundable deposit at time of booking in order to secure rooms
A 50% non-refundable deposit is payable 90 days prior to arrival
Full pre-payment (100%) is required 60 days prior to arrival, final rooming lists and requirements to be received 30 days prior to arrival
Reservations made less than 60 days prior to arrival will require full pre-payment at time of booking
Groups & Peak Season Cancellations: (20 December – 10 January and Easter Weekend)
50% of fee if cancellation less than 60 days prior to arrival
100% of fee if cancellation less than 30 days prior to arrival
Waiver:
Prana Lodge reserves the right to release bookings should payment not be received by the requested date
Prana Lodge retains the right to admit or remove any guests whose behaviour impacts negatively on the hotel property, other guests and / or staff
COVID-19 terms & conditions:
Cancellation fees will be waived on the following
basis:
SA Government closes borders
Clients country prohibits travel to/from South Africa
Client has tested positive for COVID within 10 days of travel or during travel period
Transfers:
All transfers must be arranged prior to arrival
Spa Bookings:
Our Spa facilities are in demand and we thereforerecommend that these facilities are pre-booked
