Game drive
(INCLUDED)
The conservancies have amplified this mantra and are unlike anywhere else in Africa with off-road driving permitted and limits on vehicles. Also, the most prolific cat numbers in Africa. These are just a few reasons why so many revisit year after year.
All our guides are Silver-rated by the Kenya Professional Safari Guides Association, placing them among the top 5% of professional guides in Kenya.
Led by our silver-rated guides, you enjoy unparalleled insights into animal behavior and expert guidance for all sorts of safaris, whether they be birding, photographic or indeed a more balanced theme. From elephants, buffalo, and giraffe to the region’s thriving big cat populations, every game drive brings you closer to nature without disturbing it.

Wild Camping
(EXTRA)
Designed for those seeking a deeper connection with nature, this authentic walking safari in Kenya combines comprehensive guided bush walks with the raw beauty of fly camping under the African night sky.
Wild camping is the purest expression of safari – nights beneath endless African skies, tracing ancient pathways guided by our expert guides and an armed ranger. With every step, the bush reveals its secrets: the delicate imprint of a lion’s paw, the rustle of distant elephants, the fragrance of wild sage in the breeze. There are no walls here – just canvas, stars, and the profound stillness of nature.
This intimate, low-impact safari experience perfectly complements your Kenya holiday, combining guided walking safaris by day with the serene luxury of a private wilderness camp by night.

Community Trust Project Visit
(INCLUDED)
Kicheche Community Trust support a number of schools and projects in the greater area. It is usually possible to pay a visit to them. Any educational gifts or donations that you can contribute are an enormous help to the pupils.
Guided Bush Walk
(INCLUDED)
Kicheche offers a variety of walking safaris at all camps – from short escorted bush walks to overnight wild camping – suitable for all ages and fitness levels.
Our Mara Conservancies and Ol Pejeta Conservancy feature some of Kenya’s most stunning walking terrain and thriving wildlife ecosystems. Every walk is led by Silver-rated guides, among Kenya’s finest, and accompanied by an armed ranger to ensure your safety while observing wildlife up close. Interpretive guides reveal the hidden wonders of the bush: leopard spoor, rare bird nests, and migration signs invisible from a vehicle.
Bush walks are a wonderful alternative to a game drive. We recommend booking in advance for planning purposes, though they can also be arranged while at camp, subject to availability.
Wild camping includes private fly-camps with dome tents, camp beds, bedrolls, washstands, and hot bush showers. Walks typically last 4–5 hours, with flexible pace and distance.
Hot Air Ballooning
(EXTRA)
Experience a breathtaking sunrise balloon safari over Maasai Mara (Hot Air Safaris is our preferred operator in Olare Motorogi Conservancy).
