Kosi Forest Lodge
Tucked into the tranquil sand forest alongside the Kosi lake is an unspoilt wilderness lodge that is part of the iSimangaliso World Heritage Park. The 16-bed lodge offers comfortable accommodation, fine cuisine and caters for a host of estuarine, beach and wilderness activities. Each bush suite is hidden within the forest. Romantic en-suite bathrooms set in white, sandy beach under Umdoni trees are open-air, giving guests a truly unique experience. Guests can relax at the pool with its sweeping views of Lake Shengeza. Explore this unique ecosystem by canoe or take a day trip by boat through the lakes, stopping for a swim and a picnic lunch at a nearby beach. Or enjoy a visit to Tembe Elephant Park. From November to February marvel as Giant Loggerhead and Leatherback turtles struggle up the beach to lay their eggs, returning year after year to the same place.
