Shinde Footsteps
Walking Safari
At Shinde Footsteps, guests can also focus on experiencing the wilderness of the Okavango Delta in the most traditional way – on foot. Walking is the highlight of a 'true' safari experience, and no special training is required, as the focus is on exploration and discovery – tracking fresh spoor each morning to reveal the previous night's events makes it a memorable safari adventure. Guests gain an in-depth knowledge of the incredible way wildlife and habitat interact.
Game Drive
Game drives are conducted by a guide in comfortable, specially designed game drive vehicles. When out on game drives our window seat guarantee ensures no more than four guests per vehicle and individual use of a camera mount.
Specialist Family Safari
The Young Explorers Program hosted by a specialist family guide is offered at all our camps, including Shinde Footsteps. This specially designed programme encourages families to discover the wonders of the African Wilderness together. The emphasis is on providing the family with engaging, age-appropriate activities on a flexible schedule whilst creating shared family memories to last a lifetime.
Specialist Walking Safari
For guests seeking a more focused and immersive walking experience, a skilled and highly qualified specialist walking guide can accompany them throughout their safari at any of our camps. Each specialist walking guide can lead a maximum of six guests, ensuring a personalised adventure – depending on the group size, a private vehicle may be required.
Mokoro & boat excursions
Being situated in a private concession and with year round water in this area, guests can explore and understand more about this unique eco-system on the water - providing a unique perspective and the opportunity for guests to experience the Delta via traditional means.
