Kala Camp is the charming little sister to Setari — an intimate, traditional 14-bed safari camp deep within Botswana’s Okavango Delta.

Located approximately 12 kilometres southwest of Setari, Kala enjoys an enviable setting overlooking the vast floodplains of the Delta, with a beautiful palm forest beyond. The relaxed main area offers bush dining, comfortable sofas from which to enjoy a G&T while watching the sunset, and a swimming pool for cooling off during the heat of the day.

The safari experience at Kala follows the natural rhythms of the Delta. From April to September, guests can explore by boat and traditional mokoro, enjoy guided walking safaris and, depending on water levels, limited game drives.

From October to March, as the floodwaters recede, game drives become a greater part of the safari experience, alongside walking safaris and mokoro excursions when water levels permit.

Intimate, relaxed and wonderfully remote, Kala offers a varied safari experience by vehicle, boat, mokoro and on foot.
