Sayari
Sayari is a permanent lodge style camp in the North Serengeti overlooking the Mara River. The view over the river and across the plains is very impressive.
It is served by Serengeti Kogatende airstrip which is within a 10 minute drive. 15 “Wilderness style” tents split in to 2 wings, of 9 and 6, each with its own public areas. Both wings have their own lounge and dining areas, to retain the intimacy of a small scale camp.
The tents are very spacious and equipped with contemporary, comfortable furniture. The en suite bathroom with toilets, shower, double stone hand basins, as well as a free standing bath. Large wooden decks with a day bed and impressive views. The wing with 6 tents is often booked separately on an exclusive basis (e.g. in September 2013 it was booked by Andre Agassi & Steffi Graf)
The camp’s central area consists of a large, comfortable lounge with an ‘all day’ bar service, rock swimming pool, a fire place and two ‘chill out’ areas under canvas slightly away from the main lounge. The camp has 24/7 Water and electricity. Separate dining tables or can be communal by choice
Extras can be paid by cash or by Visa or MasterCard and Sayari has a good shop. There is Wi-Fi in main areas.
