Daytime game drives with professional guides provide the perfect opportunity to get up close to Africa’s incredible animals. Game drives are conducted in state-of-the-art Land Cruisers, each accommodating a maximum of six guests. The location of Singita Mara River Tented Camp provides excellent opportunities to seasonally view the river crossings of the annual wildebeest migration (usually between July and September, but unpredictable as the migration path varies from year to year depending on weather and other environmental factors). As the Lamai triangle forms part of the Serengeti Mara ecosystem, guests experience year-round concentrations of plains game, big cats, elephant and enormous populations of crocodile and hippo in the Mara River.

Singita guests can experience the Serengeti from an elevated viewpoint aboard a hot air balloon. Partnering with our preferred supplier in the region, Serengeti Balloon Safaris, this experience offers guests a unique way to experience the Serengeti at sunrise. This activity can be booked on arrival at the lodge, however, it is recommended that this activity is pre-booked through Singita reservations prior to arrival.

The plunge pool at the main camp area is the perfect place for a relaxing dip under the vast African sky. An optional spa menu is available at additional cost. Skin care treatments are performed in the tranquility of the Spa therapy tent using Dermalogica products, which are naturally fragranced and suitable for both men and women. Body treatments such as massage, polishing scrubs and nourishing masks can be enjoyed in the comfort of guest tents or out on a private deck.
