Elephant Bedroom Camp
The Elephant Bedroom Camp is located on the barren shores of the Ewaso Nyiro River; framed by Dhoum palm trees and other native trees and shrubs in the Samburu Reserve. The camp is often visited by elephants and you can hear the roar of lions at night.
This small, exclusive tent camp has 14 tents, which are all exclusively furnished and classy. All have an en-suite bathroom, sofa or beach chairs, a coffee table, a desk and a comfortable bed. The design features neutral tones and dark wooden furniture creating a typical East African, rustic but stylish safari look. Each tent has its own small plunge pool to cool off in the heat of the day. Two of the tents are deluxe and offer more space as well as a lounge area, wooden floors throughout the room, an outdoor shower and bath, and a larger deck. The lounge and the restaurant are dominated by attractive safari colors in earth tones; colorful oil paintings, lots of soft light and indirect lighting invite you to linger after an eventful game drive.
Expert Tip: Elephant Bedroom Camp offers a fascinating location. It is ideal for travelers who prefer a smaller and more intimate camp without sacrificing the amenities of a lodge.
