Accommodation, all meals, two safari activities per day, beverages (excluding premium brands and cellar wines) 

Return shared transfers from Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport (HDS) at set departure times. Reservations will advise of these times on confirmation of booking. 

Payment Policy

• All Direct reservations require a 10% deposit upon booking confirmation, to be paid within 7 days

• Easter Weekend and Festive Season: 25% non-refundable deposit

• Final payment is due 30 days prior to your arrival

• All requests, confirmations and cancellations are only valid if in writing. Please ensure that you receive acknowledgment of your cancellation from our Reservations Department. The

cancellation fee is a percentage of the full accommodation account

Cancellation Policy

• All cancellations must be made in writing to res@simbavati.com

• FIT bookings (three rooms or less)

- Up to 61 days prior to arrival: 10% cancellation fee

- 31 to 60 days prior to arrival: 25% cancellation fee

- 15 to 30 days prior to arrival: 75% cancellation fee

- 14 days prior to arrival: 90% cancellation fee

• Group bookings (four or more rooms)

- Up to 91 days prior to arrival: 10% cancellation fee

- 61 to 90 days prior to arrival: 25% cancellation fee

- 45 to 60 days prior to arrival: 50% cancellation fee

- 44 to 15 days prior to arrival: 75% cancellation fee

- 14 days prior to arrival: 90% cancellation fee 

• All cancellation fees are calculated on the total booking value

• Please note that 100% cancellation fees will be charged if guests decide to depart early while staying with us

Notes and Other Rates

• Festive Season: 21 Dec 2026 to 03 Jan 2027 and 21 Dec 2027 to 09 Jan 2028

• Easter Weekend: 26 Mar 2027 to 29 Mar 2027

• Provisional bookings will only be held for 7 days; or 48 hours

within 7 days of arrival or if Reservations specifies due to high

demand. Thereafter the booking will automatically be released

• For reservations within 15 days of arrival, full payment is

required upon confirmation

• We reserve the right to cancel the booking if deposit or final payment is not received at the appropriate time

• Pilot/Driver’s Room: R1,400 nett (excluding beverages, activities subject to availability). Only available at Simbavati River Lodge, Simbavati Hilltop Lodge and Simbavati Camp George and subject to availability at the time of booking confirmation

• Tour Leader/Guide: R1,960 nett (only with a minimum of 12 paying guests)

Simbavati River Lodge 

• Children of all ages are welcome

• Between 0 – 3 years: no charge and includes all meals

• Between 4 – 11 years: 50% of per person sharing rate when sharing with two adults in Family Chalets or Two-Bedroom Luxury Suites

• 12 - 17 years sharing with two adults in Family Chalets at Simbavati River Lodge: 3rd/4th person rate applicable

• 12 - 17 years sharing with two adults in Two-Bedroom Luxury Suites at Simbavati Waterside: per person sharing rate applicable

• Children 6 years & over are permitted on game drives
