CONSERVATION LEVY: 

Current till 30 September 2023:

• Adults: R 140 per person per night
• 3 - 11 years: R 70 per child per night
• 0 - 2 years: No Charge 

From 01 October 2023:

• Adults: R 210 per person per night
• 3 - 11 years: R 105 per child per night
• 0 - 2 years: No Charge
• Applicable to all bookings made from 20 April 2023, with a stay date after 01 October 2023

The Conservation Levy will primarily fund the anti-poaching units and a dedicated rhino monitoring program to preserve and protect the rhinos of Amakhala Game Reserve.

• Check in time is between 1pm - 2pm.
• Check out time is 11am on the day of departure.
• Guests will be required to sign an indemnity form on arrival. 

Terms and Conditions:

1. All rates are in South African Rands.
2. No children under the age of 9 are allowed at Safari Lodge.
3. Please note that all guests are required to sign an indemnity form on arrival. 
4. Safari Lodge reserves the right to admit any guests/s and furthermore reserves the right to remove any guest/s whose behaviour impacts negatively on other guests and/ or staff.

Cancellation Policy: Current until 30 September 2022:

• Cancellations will only be accepted in writing
• 20-15 days prior to arrival: 25% 
• 14-03 days prior to arrival 50% 
• 48 hours prior to arrival: 80% 
• No Show: 100%

 
Cancellation clause valid until 30 Apr 2022: In cases where a guest is prevented from taking up their booking due to any governmental regulation, such as closure of borders or any medical incident relating to COVID 19 (medical proof required), all cancellation costs will be waived and all monies will be refunded. This applies to all bookings up to 48 hours of arrival. The Amakhala Game Reserve retains the right to amend terms without prior notice.

• 29-15 days prior to arrival: 25%
• 14-03 days prior to arrival: 50%
• 48 hours prior to arrival: 80%
