If you do spend a lot of time at the villa, you will not want to leave. This individual private home with two-bedrooms, two and one half baths, overlooks the Pacific Ocean at a unique location where you can watch the surf and surfers during the day and listen to the ocean surf all night long. The beach directly below the villa is noted as one of the most picturesque in the area due to the cove created by the peninsula of land that juts out into the ocean and the adjoining “Tree Island” that is accessible at low tide. Further along the uninterrupted 1.7 mile palm-lined beach you see the anchorage where the local fishermen keep their boats.

A fully equipped kitchen will allow you to prepare some of your favorite meals using the local fresh produce and fruits. Your covered terrace will provide hours of outside living, the way most of the locals spend their time, with great opportunities for viewing wildlife – especially early in the morning. And Villa MarLeta’s private garden, just steps below, is full of a variety of incredibly beautiful flowering tropical plants as well as fruit trees such as papayas, bananas, plantains, guava and mango, which can be enjoyed by guests depending on the season.

The Villa has a great flow and architectural layout with the kitchen and living room centered in the middle complete with two master bedroom suites and a third room with an attached bathroom. Each room has sliding doors that open to a large deck with a pool and each has a spectacular ocean, jungle, and sunset view.

The infinity pool is finished in a beautiful greenish colored stone from Indonesia and there is plenty of patio space with lounge chairs and enough deck space to entertain.

Casa Espectacular also offers free Wi-Fi throughout the house and swimming pool area. Each of 3 bedrooms is equipped with air conditioning, a shower/bathtub, and a closet. A hairdryer is also available. Each master bedroom has a separate shower and a bathtub. One master bedroom has an indoor jacuzzi while the other has an outdoor bathtub. A dishwasher, microwave, oven, glass cooktop, refrigerator with freezer, garbage disposal, washer, and dryer are in the house. The kitchen is fully equipped and ready for cooking and grilling!

This is the highest villa in Canto del Mar, and the most private. You are in the jungle. As you enter through the front door you are greeted with a breathtaking view of the ocean; this is also the view that greets you from your bed every morning. The early darkness, the salt air, jungle noises, and sea breezes let you relax or sleep early, usually after some wine and a long relaxing float in the pool. If the stars are out, turn the lights off, you will love it.

After some reading in bed and a sound sleep, the early sunlight gently will wake you up. All three bedrooms open onto an outdoor lower patio. Stay in bed, or go out onto the patio – either way you have a very green view over luxurious foliage and out to the sea. Go up for coffee and maybe a dip in the pool. Bring a book – this is a villa for relaxing, good music, reading, eating with friends, and lots of dozing. Watch the birds and monkeys. Nearby there are so many activities, great restaurants, and beaches – including the one directly opposite the Canto Del Mar entrance.

Nestled atop a cloistered ridge, Villa Tres Ninas welcomes its guests with fabulous views of the Pacific Ocean and surrounding mountains hugging the coast of Costa Rica’s celebrated southern zone.

Directly across from Hermosa Beach and overlooking the famous “Whale’s Tail” reef in Ballena National Park, guests enjoy both privacy and the many outdoor activities available in one of the most biodiversity-rich areas of the world.

The three bedroom and three bath en suite configuration of the villa provides privacy for all of its guests; each bathroom is equipped with a bidet. The lower level bedroom affords proximity to the living areas while ensuring a private locale. The bedrooms and all living areas are air conditioned but the typical guest notes enjoying the house fully opened to allow the ocean and mountain breezes as well as the beautiful natural sounds of the rainforest.

Casa Atardecer is about 200 meters above, and ¼ mile inland from, the Pacific Ocean. Facing to the West it offers breathtaking ocean vistas and dramatic sunsets. During the day, the trees surrounding the casa are visited by toucans, aracaris and numerous other tropical birds — sometimes even sloths and monkeys. Casa Atardecer has four bedrooms (three in the main building and one in a private apartment above the two-car garage) and comfortably sleeps four couples.
The floor to ceiling windows of the living room and master suite open on rails so that you are, literally, inside but outside at the same time. From the living room you can swim into the infinity pool. The comforts of home but in a rainforest at the edge of the ocean – and not home at all.

The large infinity pool has partially submerged chairs built into each end for lounging in the water and maximum relaxation with the views to match. At the north end of the pool is a BBQ grill, making for more great dining possibilities and a way to enjoy the outdoors while you cook away.
