Jembisa Bush Home and Magari Safari Lodge are two exquisite small lodges situated on a private game reserve in the breathtakingly beautiful mountainous scenery of the Waterberg. These stylish relaxed lodges are perfect for multi-generational family safaris or small groups of friends or couples looking to experience award winning African hospitality and diverse wildlife experiences, many unique to Jembisa, in a malaria-free environment. Both lodges can be booked on an Exclusive Use, private basis or on a Non-Exclusive Use, shared basis.

Jembisa Bush Home is beautifully appointed and extremely comfortable with spacious, light and airy rooms and 6 en-suite bedrooms and a children's bunkroom. 5 of the en-suite bedrooms are situated within Jembisa Bush Home and the 6th bedroom, our Garden Room, is adjacent to the lodge and easily accessible for any guests that stay there and can accommodate two guests in a loft style suite.
The total capacity of Jembisa Bush Home is 12 adults & 4 children. Camp cots are available for infants and can be placed in the parents bedroom. Wi-Fi is available in all the rooms.

Magari Safari Lodge is beautifully appointed and has a boma in which to enjoy sitting around a campfire in the evening, a sunbathing terrace and a swimming pool with spectacular views. Magari has 5 luxurious en-suite bedrooms, with 4 rooms situated in the beautifully manicured gardens of the lodge and 1 room in the main lodge. The total capacity of Magari is 10 guests, with children from 6 years and older accommodated.
Two of the garden rooms have outdoor decks with views of the valley and hills, as well as outdoor showers from which the incredible views can be admired, and 2 are situated further back in the garden with covered verandas on which to enjoy early morning coffee and watch the wildlife roam about. The bedroom situated in the main lodge is private and opens up onto a viewing deck overlooking the stunning Palala Valley. Wi-Fi is available in all the rooms.

The Palala River Cottages are our fully equipped self-catering cottages scattered across the Jembisa Private Game Reserve. Guests are welcome to self-drive, walk and fish. Guided game drives and walks, massages at your cottage and some simple meals can be booked in advance, subject to availability. There are 4 cottages/locations to choose from.

Our River Cottage is perfect for couples looking for a private escape. The cottage, sleeping 2 guests in 1 bedroom, is situated on the banks of the Palala River. River Cottage does not have cell phone signal or WIFI, and does not have access to a swimming pool.

Our Kingfisher Cottage is perfect for big family gatherings, sleeping 10 guests in 5 rooms (3 Double + 2 Twin). The cottage has a big kitchen, lounge, dining area, braai area outside and plunge pool. Kingfisher Cottage has free WIFI but no cell phone signal.

The Podica Bush Camp consists of 3 separate rondawels that can either be booked separately or as a whole. Each cottage can sleep 2 guests with an open plan living area, attached bathroom with shower only, an outdoor shower and private boma area. Podica Bush Camp does not have cell phone signal or WIFI and does not have access to a swimming pool.

Samia Cabin is a wooden cabin consisting of 3 en-suite bedrooms, with a kitchen, lounge and dining area. The cabin has a viewing deck that opens from the lounge area and a boma area where you can sit and watch the African sky at night. Samia Cabin has cell phone signal and free WIFI. Samia Cabin does not have access to a swimming pool.

Our check in time is between 14:00 - 18:00, after 18:00 the reserve gates are closed. A later check in can be facilitated up until 19:00, if previously arranged with management.
