Board a comfortable and safe pontoon boat for a relaxing cruise across Arenal Lake, the largest lake in Costa Rica. Stay tuned with nature and sightseeing for resident and migratory birds, and even the chance to spot mammals in the surrounding area.
After disembarking in Río Chiquito, take a short break to refresh your legs before continuing your journey by minibus to your hotel in the Monteverde area.

- Includes: all ground and aquatic transportation.
- Recommendations: long pants, hiking shoes, camera, binoculars, sun lotion, insect repellent, raincoat.
- Difficulty: Moderated.
- Who can participate: Suggested for children over 4 years old and adults in good physical and medical condition. Infants under 3 years old are allowed if parents are responsible for carrying them.

- La Fortuna Town to Arenal Dam: 21 kilometers (13 miles) approx. (This will depend on hotel location)
- Boat Ride: 40 minutes approx.
- Río Chiquito to Monteverde: 39 kilometers (24 miles) approx. (This will depend on hotel location)
Travelers per bus with luggage:
- 8 in minibuses.
- up to 18 in coaster type vehicles.
Restrictions:
- Closed shoes are required, sandals or others open shoes are not allowed, under 18 must be accompanied by an adult, pets are not allowed. Advance reservation is required.
- Maximum 1 large suitcase and 1 carry-on per passenger. For groups with excess suitcases or special luggage (boards, diving equipment, etc.), additional ground transportation will be charged, please consult the cost that will depend on the amount of luggage.
- Drop off in Monteverde does not include parks such as Sky Adventures, Selvatura, Reserva Monteverde, similar or hotels outside the central area of Santa Elena or beyond the Trapp Family, DOF in any of these parks or other areas will have an additional cost, please consult to quote according to the needs of your group.
