We depart to a Himba village about 30km from the Guesthouse. Here you will be able to see the daily duties in the village. Himba people are very proud of their tradition, and they will explain their daily life to you. You will also have the possibility to view the accommodation and living areas.

This excursion is a full-day excursion.
After breakfast, we depart from the guesthouse due North entering the Hoanib at Elephant Song. From here chances are good to spot the desert-adapted elephants that have made this river their home. They do move up and down the river covering vast distances in search of food and water. With some luck we might spot lion, giraffe, oryx, springbok and other typical wildlife for the area – sometimes even black rhino.

Requires a min. 2 -night stay at the guesthouse on a DBB basis (at an additional cost).

We depart on a scenic nature drive in a 4x4 safari vehicle to a nearby lookout point/sunset spot. Here we relax and enjoy the breathtaking views with some snacks and drinks.

Duration: 2.5-3 hours (16:00/17:00-19:00/19:30).
