Saruni Wild
Tucked into a thicket of trees on the Mara plains, Saruni Wild places you directly in the path of one of nature’s greatest spectacles. Each year the Great Wildebeest Migration sweeps across this landscape, the plains game is abundant year-round, and the seclusion of the community-owned Lemek Conservancy is complete.
This is a small, intimate camp, elegantly furnished and quietly luxurious. Hot showers, spacious verandahs with uninterrupted views, and fire-lit dinners at the communal table, often moved outside under an open sky, set the tone for evenings that linger long after the flames die down. Sundowners are served at the camp’s panoramic bush table.
Days unfold at your own pace. Game drives by day and night are led by Maasai guides who know this landscape with an intimacy no map can capture. Mornings are given over to birdsong and plains game, and nights to stargazing from the comfort of your verandah. Families can join the Warriors Academy and spend time learning the tracking and survival skills of Maasai warriors. Beyond camp, guests can drive to the top of Mount Kilileoni, visit the Ol Chorro Rhino Sanctuary or float over the plains in a hot air balloon.
As a founding member of Lemek Conservancy, Saruni Wild channels part of every stay directly back to the Maasai landowners who protect this land.
