Casa Real Hotel is located on the Santa Rita Winery estate. Its late 19th-century Pompeian style has been preserved, making this one of Chile’s unique historic monuments.

Santa Rita Winery was founded in 1880 by the well-respected businessman Domingo Fernández Concha. He also commissioned German architect Teodoro Burchard to build his Pompeian-style summer home on the property with a neo-gothic chapel beside it.
Two years later the renowned French landscape architect Guillermo Renner designed the 40 hectare park that surrounds the hotel. His sophisticated landscaping also incorporated Italian, French, and English-style sculptures.
