Zebras can run at speeds of up to 65 km/h (40 mph), helping them escape predators in the wild. Like other canids, they regurgitate food for their young, but uniquely, they also feed adult pack members this way, reinforcing social bonds. Hierarchy at the Carcass: Interestingly, pups eat first at kills—unusual among carnivores and a sign of the species' pack-oriented care system.
