• All meals;
• Park fees, accommodation taxes, applicable tourism levies and all relevant Value Added Tax (VAT);
• All non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages (with the exception of wines, spirits and champagnes on the Premium List);
• Daily laundry service (weather and water supply permitting)
• All activities, including game drives, seasonal boating, seasonal catch-and-release fishing mekoro excursions, walking, use of the gym, pool and library; and
• In-suite Wi-Fi.

Non-Peak Payment & Deposit Policy

• In the case of short lead time bookings, the full amount will be due as indicated by Red Carnation Africa. Failure to pay on time may result in automatic cancellation of the booking with cancellation penalties payable to Red Carnation Africa.
• Provisional reservations may be held for 14 days at Red Carnation Africa’s discretion, after which time the reservation is either released for resale; or
• A 20% non-refundable deposit based on the total booking value is paid within 7 days of confirmation to secure the reservation. Balance of the total booking value is due 45 days prior to arrival; 
• Should the arrival date be 45 days or less, 100% payment of the total booking value is required within 24 hours;

• Each cancellation will be treated fairly on its merits
• A 100% cancellation fee will be applied if the number of room nights is reduced from the original booking or the booking is cancelled within 45 days prior to arrival
• A full cancellation fee will be applied if the booking is a ‘’no show’’
• One name change is allowed when within cancellation

• Guests travelling with children aged between 6 and 12 will require to book a Private Vehicle for the duration of their stay.
• Children aged 6 and over are welcome at Xigera Safari Lodge and the full adult rate is charged;
• Children aged between 6 and 16 years must share a suite with one adult;
• Children partaking in boating or mekoro excursions must wear life vests at all times; and
• For safety reasons, children under the age of 12 may not participate in walking or mekoro excursions.

• Xigera Safari Lodge reserve the right to change, modify, add to / or remove provisions of / or the whole of these Terms and Conditions in this rate schedule.
• Rates include accommodation on a fully inclusive (FI) basis (see ‘Accommodation Rates are Inclusive Of’ above);
• The rates are quoted and invoiced in US Dollars (USD)
• The rates are subject to change without prior notice;
• Xigera Safari Lodge reserves the right to amend the quoted rates accordingly should the government amend the VAT percentage or introduce further taxes or levies during the duration of this contract
• All accommodation rates are on a shared basis (per person sharing);
• No duplicate bookings (either provisional or confirmed) will be held in the property management system;
• Xigera Safari Lodge reserves the right to limit the number of rooms available;
• Xigera Safari Lodge reserves the right to release accommodation bookings held should prepayment not reach us prior to the deposit deadlines as stipulated;
• All bookings are facilitated by Red Carnation Africa, who act as the agent on behalf of Xigera Safari Lodge, the principal in this agreement.
• It is a condition of Xigera Safari Lodge that guests must be covered by their own fully comprehensive travel insurance policy valid from the date that the itinerary is confirmed.
