Our bird-watching hike begins with a 25-minute transfer from your hotel to the Lost Iguana trail, located in an exclusive area near the primary forest. The selected area guarantees a variety of habitats for spotting various bird species, including gardens, primary forest, secondary forest, grasslands, and our exclusive hummingbird sanctuary. With the guidance of our expert bird-watching naturalist, you will have the opportunity to spot a wide variety of species, such as the black-crested coquette, keel-billed motmot, helmeted flycatcher, nightingale wren, as well as tanagers, orioles, and toucans. This activity takes place in areas near the Arenal Volcano National Park, which is home to approximately 58% of the country's bird species.
