General Guidance
Two seasons, five reasons and a lifetime love
Costa Rica is a tropical hideaway in the middle of the Americas where nature, adventure, peace, comfort, and happiness co-exist. It is a fantastic destination for any weary traveler. However, the question comes: What makes it so great for incentive travel and meetings?
At Premio DMC we would like to give you two seasons, five reasons, and a lifetime love for Costa Rica, the sort of country that makes visitors want to come back over and over.
There is so much to see and to do in such little space that one visit is never enough. Its condensed beauty, its people, its astonishing landscapes and amazing colors turn the environmentally-friendly Costa Rica into a love that lasts for a lifetime.
In Costa Rica, we have two specific weather periods: the dry season and the rainy season, also known as the gold season and the green season, respectively. Costa Rica is always nice. The bottom line is that the amount of rain that we get changes from one season to the other, but the temperature remains pleasant year round.
Depending on where you are, seasons might take place in one time of the year or another. Yes! As small as it is, Costa Rica has different seasons for different regions. For example, the sunny season on the Caribbean Coast is shorter and takes place in March, April, September, and October. However, in the rest of the country, it can last for up to six months, normally from November to late April.
Lumberjacks, beavers, hockey fanatics, Mounties and maple syrup spring immediately to mind. While Canada certainly provides all of these traditional associations in abundance, this awe-inspiring country has so much more to offer than a slew of cliches. With its unrivalled outdoor adventure facilities, its unforgettable natural landscapes and its exceptionally cosmopolitan and progressive cities, Canada has plenty to offer those seeking cutting-edge culture as well as adventure junkies looking for a serious adrenaline kick. Popular tourist destinations include: the magnificent Rocky Mountains around Banff and Lake Louise, high-end luxury ski resorts such as Whistler and Blackcomb, the French-speaking cities of Montreal or Quebec, or the uber-cool and perpetually bustling urban centres of Vancouver or Toronto. Whether visiting an Inuit lodge in Nunavut, taking a dog-sled ride through the Yukon to view the spectacular northern lights blaze across the night sky, or indulging in some lovely high tea on Vancouver Island, you are bound to find plenty of activities to keep you blissfully engaged in this exceptionally diverse and incomprehensibly vast nation.
