Travel Local Terms and Conditions
BOOKING AND PAYMENT
To confirm arrangements, a deposit for each tour booked of 20% of the total cost (if not otherwise agreed, depending on the type of trip). Final payment must be done 60 days before departure. For bookings that should take place within 60 days prior to departure or for reservations with special conditions (for example special offers, special periods such as New Year's Eve and Carnival, etc.) the full amount must be paid at the time of the booking.
PRICE CHANGES
For the cases listed below, we reserve the right to subsequently increase the quoted prices:
• Tariff changes by transport companies (for example fuel surcharges)
• new taxes or fees generally introduced or increased (for example, the increase in port or airport taxes)
• price increases imposed by the government (eg VAT)
• extraordinary increases in hotel prices
• plausibly explainable printing errors
• changes in the exchange rate
MODIFICATION OR CANCELLATION OF THE PACKAGE BEFORE DEPARTURE
Before departure, the organizer or seller who needs to change significantly one or more elements of the contract, immediately gives written notice to the consumer, indicating the type of change and the change in price that follows. If you do not accept the modification proposal, the consumer may alternatively exercise the right to reacquire the sum already paid or to enjoy the offer of a replacement tourist package.
CHANGES AFTER THE DEPARTURE
If after the departure the organizer finds it impossible to provide for any reason, except for a fact of the consumer, an essential part of the services included in the contract, he will have to prepare alternative solutions, without any price additional to be paid by the contractor and if the services provided are of a lower value than those envisaged, reimburse it equal to this difference.
WITHDRAWAL FROM THE TRAVEL OR STAY CONTRACT
In case of waivers of the services booked, the agency will apply the following penalties, in addition to the charges and expenses to be incurred for the cancellation of the same services:
- up to 60 days before the trip start date, a cancellation fee equal to the previously agreed down payment or equal to 20% applies;
- from 28 to 59 days before the trip start date, 40% of the total price of the trip is non-refundable;
- from 15 to 27 days before the trip start date, 70% of the total price of the trip is non-refundable;
- and 14 days or less before the trip start date, 100% of the total price of the trip is non-refundable;
no reimbursement will be granted to those who do not show up at the start, and or will renounce during the course of the trip.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The agency acts only as an organizing agent of: tours, attractions, hotel reservations and accommodation, restaurants, meals and services, guided tours and transportation of any kind, and can not be held responsible in any way for injuries, losses, damages, accidents, delays or inconveniences that may occur either due to defects, or as acts of government or other civil authorities (wars, civil unrest, strikes, etc.) or from any cause beyond the control of the agency. the agency assumes no responsibility for the loss or additional expenses in case of delays or changes to the program or other causes. The agency and its suppliers reserve the right to cancel or reschedule each tour departure in accordance with the regulations in place. Flights and Hotels will be reconfirmed after payment. In the event that the services offered are no longer available, we will proceed with the booking of equivalent services.
LUGGAGE
All luggage travel under the direct supervision and the sole responsibility of the owner and the agency can not under any circumstances be held responsible for any loss or damage of the same. Carriers are liable to travelers for the duration of the transport by their own means, in accordance with their own terms and conditions of carriage.
COMPLAINTS
In case of any complaints related to the services received, the customer is asked to immediately contact the agency so that there is evidence of the inconvenience complained and you have the opportunity to remove it promptly. Complaints will be accepted only if forwarded within 24 hours of the occurrence of the inconvenience. Any late complaints or complaints made after the end of the stay will have the value of a simple report.
PASSPORT, VISA AND IMMIGRATION REQUIREMENTS
The website of our Agent, TravelLocal, has links to general information about the passport and visa requirements for your holiday, but your specific passport and visa requirements, and other immigration requirements are your responsibility and you should confirm these with the relevant Embassies and/or Consulates. Any information supplied by Us or by our Agent, TravelLocal, on these or related matters (such as climate, when to travel, clothing, baggage, personal items etc.) is given as general guidance and in good faith but neither We nor TravelLocal accept liability for any decisions made on the basis of the information supplied.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you and all members of your party are in possession of all necessary travel and health documents, and in compliance with any other immigration requirements before you travel. You must check passport and visa requirements with the embassy or consulate of the country(ies) you are visiting or passing through. Neither We nor the principal(s) or supplier(s), accept any responsibility if you cannot travel because you have not complied with any passport, visa, or immigration requirements.
