WHAT TO EXPECT
ACTIVITY LEVEL: Walking up to 2–3 miles per day on a mix of sidewalks, historic cobblestone streets, and within museums. The centers of European cities are often pedestrian-only, and access for motorcoaches is strictly limited. Travel is by motorcoach and water taxi. You should be comfortable managing your own hand luggage and able to walk steadily for short distances, climb short flights of stairs at historic sites and within some older buildings.
