WHAT TO EXPECT
This journey combines remote wildlife regions, meaningful conservation field visits, and comfortable accommodations ranging from traditional Pantanal lodges to modern hotels in São Paulo and Rio. Travelers should expect early mornings, boat and vehicle-based wildlife viewing, and some walking on uneven ground. To reach the remote Pantanal sites efficiently, the itinerary includes small charter flights with very strict baggage limits—each guest may bring only one soft bag/backpack (10 kg) and one small suitcase (10 kg), within the required size dimensions. Road travel, especially along the Transpantaneira, can be bumpy at times but offers excellent wildlife viewing. The pace is full and immersive, but designed to be rewarding, educational, and suitable for travelers with a moderate level of mobility.
