This is a Fantastic all round Kenyan itinerary. Visits the drier Northern reaches of Laikipia and Samburu with some interesting wildlife species. Finishes on a high in the famous Masai Mara.
From the start of the safari in Nairobi you will have wildlife encounters. The Daphne Sheldrick foundation is an amazing project and a great way to get hands on experiences with a very reputable and responsible wildlife Orphanage. Laikipia and Samburu is home to a myriad of dry land mammal species that is not seen anywhere. Not to mention the Samburu tribe that calls this region their home. Once you fly into the Masai Mara you will realise how diverse and big this amazing country is. The Mara offers incredible wildlife, especially predator sightings, so take your time with your guide to explore the endless plains in the hope to spot a few predators. Try and also consider doing an eraly morning balloon flight over the plains followed by a visit to a local masai boma (village). Your safari ends at the comfortable Ole Sereni hotel in Nairobi, it is located in close proximity to Jomo Kenyata International Airport and would make the transfer from the hotel to the airport for your departing flight, painless.
