Walking, Fly Camping and Glamping in Laikipia and Masai Mara Safari

The Laikipia area of Central Kenya is very different from anything that you would see in the Masai Mara area, it is much drier and in areas quite rugged country. It is this difference that allows other species to thrive that you will not see in the wetter areas of Kenya further South. It is also where the famous Black Leopards occur and your camp is right in the heart of their territory where they are commonly seen so this will give you amazing photo opportunities. 

You will also explore this wild country on foot with two nights out in a basic fly camp with a small team to set up and look after the food. It's all very basic but a really genuine and back to basics experience.

The Masai Mara is a very different place and on this part of the safari you will get to experience two different conservancies owned by the local communities on the edges of the actual Mara Reserve. This is a better way to experience the Masai Mara ecosystem as you have much more intimate game viewing with few other safari vehicles around. Added to this you will also get to walk between these two conservancies - Olare Motorogi and Naboisho spending a night out in a basic but comfortable fly camp. A great experience and adds a whole new dimension to your Mara experience that few others ever do.
