Chobe River Lodge is located in the small town of Kasane, right on the banks of the Chobe River. The lodge is five minutes by boat from Chobe National Park and approximately eight minutes by vehicle. Chobe National Park is known for its large herds of elephants, which converge along the Chobe Riverfront in the dry months, as well as the Big Five which can be seen roaming Chobe.
