Combine the emotional excitement of trekking to see Mountain Gorillas in Rwanda, with an active safari in Mana Pools, Zimbabwe. Both countries are easily connected by a direct flight from Kigali to Harare (2hrs30min flight) - this flight operates on Sunday, Wednesday & Fridays.
In addition to traditional 4x4 game drives, this safari offers the active outdoor person, trekking for gorillas, exciting walking safaris, canoeing on the Zambezi River, and fishing.
This safari operates during the dry season - June to mid November.
The itinerary can be adjusted to include gorilla trekking in Uganda as an alternative, or can be extended to include other safaris areas in Zimbabwe or South Africa.
