Our Self Drive Safari in the Zambezi Bwabwata Region is like no other tour in Namibia. As well as buffalo hippo and crocodiles this area is a birders dream with over 450 species including one of the largest colonies of carmine bee-eaters in Africa who nest along the banks of the Zambezi between August and December.
Two nights spent at Fiume Bush Camp also gives you the opportunity to spend time learning about the ancient tribe of Namibian Bushmen. The working Bushman village is supported by the nearby lodge and the people are happy to share their daily lives with you.
No trip to Namibia is complete without a visit to Okonjima, home of the Africat Foundation where some of the country's largest carnivores and most endangered species are studied.
