From June to October, wildebeest push north from central Serengeti toward the Mara River. Crossings can be seen in the western Grumeti area (normally June–July) and the northern Serengeti (August–October), where patient guests may witness the dramatic river crossings as herds move between Serengeti and Masai Mara.
