Visit an area where you may spot the Green Macaw, home to around 450 bird species—over half of Costa Rica's total. Immerse yourself in the search for the stunning Resplendent Quetzal, renowned for its vibrant green and red plumage. You'll also encounter hummingbirds, such as the fiery-throated and green violetears, along with wildlife like red-eyed tree frogs and the white-nosed coatis.
This workshop is designed for small groups of intermediate to advanced photographers aiming to enhance their skills in perfect settings. Our expert guides are among the best in Costa Rica, ensuring an enjoyable experience while locating various wildlife.
During the Quetzal season, we will first seek the elusive bird at Paraíso del Quetzal, followed by a visit to a hummingbird garden. In the Palo Verde Cloudforest, you'll hike for about two hours in a cool climate full of unique flora and fauna, where over 200 bird species have been observed, including the Resplendent Quetzal, Bellbirds, and woodpeckers.
