Costa Rica Photography tour

This Costa Rica photography tour is a unique adventure combining various landscapes and habitats including volcanos,  river canals and lush forest. For eight blissful days you'll explore Costa Rica - a paradise of birds and nature. 

This trip has been handcrafted for some of the very best wildlife and bird viewing in Costa Rica. You will have an opportunity to photograph birds, mammals, reptiles & amphibians, monkeys, snakes, flowers, frogs, bats, butterflies and more!

You'll visit the area where the endemic Green Macaws can be seen as well as  Scaled Macaw,  this area is home to some 450 bird species, over half of the bird species of Costa Rica.  Immerse yourself in one of the best places to view the Resplendent Quetzal, with it’s vivid green and red plumage that has earned the reputation as one of the world’s most beautiful birds. Hummingbirds are everywhere including the fiery-throated and green violetears. Other wildlife you may see are red-eyed tree frogs, white-nosed coati, lizards, butterflies, howler monkeys, and bats.

The workshop is designed for a small group of anyone who aims to improve their wildlife photography skills or for those intermediate to advanced photographers who want to be in the ideal place to shoot.  Our local guide/photographer Alex Arias is amazing! Not only being one of the very best guides in Costa Rica, he’s just fun to be with and has the ability to find wildlife and birds like no other.  

Our time in Costa Rica will be spent in three locations, the rain forest of the Caribbean Lowlands, river canals, and dry forest of the central highlands.
