Safari Itinerary

Days: 1-3

MAKGADIKGADI PANS NATIONAL PARK & BOTETI RIVER

On arrival at the Maun airport, the guest family will be met by a representative who will assist them with boarding your light aircraft transfer to Leroo La Tau. Landing at the Leroo La Tau airstrip, their guide will meet the family and transfer them by road to Leroo la Tau where family can settle into their luxurious family room - consisting of two bedrooms and two bathrooms, overlooking the Boteti River.

The family will spend the next two nights at Leroo La Tau enjoying daily game drives along the Boteti River to witness the prolific wildlife that frequent the region. Option excursions to the nearby Khumaga village are also available for a chance to experience Botswana's unique culture.

Overnight at Leroo la Tau (2 Nights) – Fully inclusive

Days: 3-5

MOREMI GAME RESERVE

After your final morning activity at Leroo La Tau, guests head back to the airstrip for your light aircraft transfer to Camp Xakanaxa in the Moremi Game Reserve. The light aircraft flight will offer an introduction to the Okavango Delta as guests witness the vastness of the world heritage site from the air.

Landing at the Moremi airstrip, the guide will meet guests and transfer them by road to Camp Xakanaxa where guests can settle into the luxurious family tent. Family will spend the next two nights at Camp Xakanaxa enjoying game drives and boating excursions as they search for the prolific wildlife that inhabits the Moremi Game Reserve.

Overnight at Camp Xakanaxa (2 Nights)- Fully inclusive

Days: 5-7

OKAVANGO

Enjoy a final morning game drive in the Moremi Game Reserve before the light aircraft transfer to Camp Okavango, a remote lodge on a private concession in the heart of the Okavango Delta. Here guests will spend the next two nights exploring the intricacies of the Okavango Delta from a variety of activities including mokoro excursions, boating safaris and guided bush walks. If family is keen on fishing, optional fishing excursions are available in season. A helicopter flight over the Okavango Delta is also available (additional fees apply) for those interested in discovering more of the Okavango Delta by air.

Days: 7-9

CHOBE RIVER FRONT

Your final stop on your Ultimate Family Safari Package is Chobe Game Lodge. After your morning activity at Camp Okavango you will transfer by light aircraft to Kasane Airport where the designated guide will meet the guests and transfer them to Chobe Game Lodge where family will spend the next two nights.

With daily game drives and exciting river safaris on offer, Chobe Game Lodge is the perfect end to guests’ vacation. The lodge offers a variety of luxuries allowing guests to take the necessary time to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

At the end of your stay guests will be transferred by road back to Kasane Airport for their regional flight out of Botswana.

Alternatively, we recommend you add an extra few days at nearby Victoria Falls.

Day 9: End of Safari

After breakfast, guests will enjoy a short game drive before a road transfer to Kasane International Airport to connect to their onward travel arrangements.
