Day 1:
Upon your arrival into Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you’ll be met upon arrival by the dmAFRICA representative who will be holding a name board as you descend the aircraft steps. You’ll then be shown to your private transfer vehicle that will take you to the aircraft terminal where you’ll be shown through fast track immigration and given assistance with baggage collection and customs formalities.
Once you’ve completed the immigration and customs formalities, you will be escorted to your waiting dmAFRICA driver and vehicle that will transfer you to the nearby Ole Sereni Hotel. The transfer time from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to the Ole Sereni is approximately 10 minutes.
Overnight you’ll be staying at the Ole Sereni on a room and breakfast basis in a deluxe room.
Day 2:
This morning, you’ll be picked up from the Ole Sereni Hotel, where you’ll be taken to the Wilson Airport in Nairobi where you will connect with your charter flight to Campi ya Kanzi. Today at Campi ya Kanzi, you will review the itinerary and enjoy sundowners in front of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro! At Campi ya Kanzi, you can enjoy a variety of safari activities, including safari walks, game drives (day & night), horseback riding & a visit to a Maasai village.
Overnight you’ll be staying at Campi ya Kanzi on a full board basis in a luxury tent.
Day 3 & 4:
Today you will have a full day of game activities at Campi ya Kanzi. Overnight you’ll be staying at Campi ya Kanzi on a full board basis in your luxury tent.
Day 5:
Today, you’ll depart Campi ya Kanzi, flying for 3 hours within the Rift Valley and over the famous plains of the Serengeti National Park and its kopjes, eventually arriving in Northern Tanzania. When you arrive within Tanzania, you’ll land and be transferred to a private mobile camp, that travels with the herds of the Great Migration through the Serengeti ecosystem! The camp will be sited within the Western Corridor of the Serengeti!
The private camp comprises of six canvas safari tents, which includes a flush toilet, bucket shower and en-suite bathroom. As well as the tents there is also a lounge/dining tent. With the mobile camp, comes the benefit of keeping up with the massive herds and the increased predator activity! You’ll be staying overnight at the Private Camp on a full board basis.
Day 6:
Today you will enjoy a full day amongst the Great Migrations herds, millions of wildebeest and zebras fill the plains. With them comes the increased activity of the lions, cheetah, leopard and hyena! Overnight you’ll be staying at the Private Camp on a full board basis in a standard tent.
Day 7:
After breakfast at the Private Camp, you’ll be connecting with your flight, which will take you over the Serengeti and to the oldest fresh water body in the world! Lake Tanganyika. Here you’ll be landing at Mahale Airstrip within the Mahale National Park. Mahale is well known for its wild chimpanzee, here you’ll be able to head into the forests to track these creatures, which share 98% of our DNA!
Overnight, you’ll be staying at Kungwe Beach Lodge on a beach on the shores of Lake Tanganyika on a full board basis.
Day 8:
Today you will have a full day tracking chimpanzees within the forests of Mahale National Park, or you can relax on the beaches of Lake Tanganyika. Overnight you’ll be staying at Kungwe Beach Lodge on a full board basis.
Day 9:
This morning you’ll depart Kungwe Beach Lodge and head to Mahale Airstrip for the flight from the crystal deep waters of Lake Tanganyika. Here you’ll be flying down to the famous Lake Malawi. The flight will head over fantastic terrain and waters. On arrival at Lake Malawi, you’ll land and be transferred to the Kaya Mawa Camp, recently voted top ten “Most Romantic Places in the World” by Conde Nast and in Tatler’s “Top 101 Hotels in the World”. Here you’ll be staying overnight on a full board basis.
Day 10:
Today you will have a full day relaxing on the shores of Lake Malawi at the Kaya Mawa Camp on a full board basis!
Day 11:
After breakfast you’ll be departing Lake Malawi, where you’ll be flying to Zambia! The flight will be a scenic route over the Luangwa Valley. In the Lunagwa Valley you will be staying overnight at the Royal Chundu Resort, which is situated in a sanctum of quiet solitude and untouched beauty. The Royal Chundu was the first Relais & Chateaux property in Zambia. The mighty Zambezi and the Victoria Falls are one of the most amazing water shows on Earth!
Overnight you’ll be staying at the Royal Chundu Resort on a full board basis.
Day 12:
Today you’ll have a full day at the Royal Chundu Resort to relax close to the mighty Zambezi River and Victoria Falls! Overnight you’ll be staying at the Royal Chundu Resort on a full board basis.
Day 13:
This morning, an amazing flight will take you from Victoria Falls to Etosha, from the immense waters to the desert, over the Caprivi strip. You’ll be heading to the Ongava Tented Camp, located in the much lauded Ongava Game Reserve to the south of the Etosha National Park. The main area, is made of stone, canvas and thatch with a bar and swimming pool. It offers great views of the wildlife that comes to drink at the waterhole! The camp comprises eight large tents, all with en-suite facilities, open air showers and private verandas! Wildlife here is amazing, with good chances to see White Rhinos!
You’ll be staying overnight at the Ongava Tented Camp on a full board basis.
Day 14:
You’ll have a full day today at the Ongava Tented Camp located in the Ongava Game Reserve with its fantastic game viewing! Overnight you’ll be staying at the Ongava Tented Camp on a full board basis.
Day 15:
Today you’ll enjoy another flight with more breath taking scenery, taking you to the one of the most incredible places on Earth: the Hartmann Valley in the Northern Namib Desert. A simply amazing place!
Set amongst shady trees on the banks of the Kunene River, Serra Cafema is one of the most remote camps in Southern Africa. Its Portuguese name originating from the mountains that dominate the northern skyline. Here you’ll fall asleep to the sound of the rushing water, whilst by day, you’ll explore one of the driest deserts in the world.
The camp comprises eigh unique canvas and thatched chalets, each with its own en-suite bathrooms, elevated decks and structures of wood, canvas and thatch create a camp that is at one with its surroundings. The dining room and pool of Serra Cefema overlook the Kunene River.
The activities at Serra Cafema are varied, including boating, walking, viewing breath-taking landscapes as well as careful guided quad-bike excursions over the dunes. In this isolated region, the Himba people still continue their nomadic and traditional way of life, you’ll also have a chance to learn about their lifestyles and traditions during your stay at Serra Cafema, where you’ll be staying overnight on a full board basis.
Day 16:
Today you will have a full day of activities at Serra Cafema, where you can enjoy boating, walking, viewing breath-taking landscapes as well as careful guided quad-bike excursions over the dunes. Overnight, you’ll be staying at Serra Cafema on a full board basis.
Day 17:
There isn’t anything that will prepare you for the flight over the Skeleton Coast. Wild, remote, desert and ocean meeting together! You may even see elephants getting to the shores, and you will certainly see hundreds of seals. This is the perfect way to end the first part of this spectacular air safari!
Naankuse is a luxury lodge amid the stunning African savannah where you’ll be staying overnight on a full board basis.
Day 18:
Today will be at your leisure to enjoy the activities offered by Naankuse Lodge! Offering a large range of activities including: Carnivore feeding tours & getting up close to cheetahs!
Overnight you’ll be staying at Naankuse Lodge; the only charity lodge in Namibia on a full board basis.
Day 19:
Your day will commence after breakfast at Naankuse, heading to the Airport, where you’ll fly over the famous Skeleton Coast, over the flamingo, ship wrecks, seals and red sand dunes of the Sossusvlei to the Namid Rand Reserve.
Here you’ll be staying at the Dunes Lodge, perched upon the top of a dune plateau, overlooking panoramic vistas in all directions, capturing the beauty if the desert in a very memorable way. The style of the building is a combination of wooden structures and canvas blinds, opening up to the expansive desert beyond. The lodge has the ambience of a tented camp, but provides the comfort and protection of a lodge. Each of the Dunes Lodge luxury chalets feature en-suite bathrooms and a private veranda offering a connection of the vast stretches of untouched red sand!
Dunes Lodge also features a swimming pool, suspended above the sand. There are also a variety of activities, all of which aim to acquaint guests with the splendour, solitude & beauty of the Namid Desert. It is possible to venture out on excursions to Sossusvlei, nature drives, guided walks and a balloon safari for an additional cost, allowing you to soar quietly above the desert!

Day 20:
You will have a full day of activities at the Dunes Lodge, or you can simply relax and unwind making use of the recreational facilities at Dunes Lodge. Overnight you’ll be staying at Dunes Lodge on a full board basis.
Day 21:
After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the airstrip where you’ll connect with your flight through Namibia and over the Kalahari Desert to a very different landscape; the Okavango Delta. Whilst in the Okavango Delta you’ll be staying at the Jao Camp. This camp is superb, set in an area where islands fringed with riverine forests meet open floodplains.
Its nine spacious and beautifully-designed tents are situated beneath a canopy of shady trees and all feature en-suite facilities, as well as outdoor showers. The tents are all built upon raised decks, each with its own private sala for afternoon siestas with views over the spectacular surrounding areas.
In addition to the lounge and dining areas, there are two plunge pools, a boma for dining under the stars and a spa with a wide range of massage therapies.
Overnight, you’ll be staying at the Jao Camp on a full board basis in your luxurious tent.
Day 22:
Today will be at your leisure to enjoy the activities provided by the Jao Camp, or to simply relax in the beautiful surroundings. Overnight you’ll be staying at the Jao Camp on a full board basis.
Day 23:
This morning, you fly from the Okavango Delta to Mana Pools in Zimbabwe. The flight will be fascinating, over incredible wilderness and plentiful game. The flight will take you over the Zambezi River and Lake Kariba; sights you will not be able to forget! The mighty Zambezi River flows from Lake Kariba, through the Lower Zambezi Valley, a huge rift in the earth’s crust. Over the millennia the Zambezi has rushed through this valley creating islands, channels and sandbanks. The meandering river has carved the volcanic soil forming a number of small ox-bow lakes surrounded by lush vegetation and mahogany and ebony trees. The abundance of water and the luxuriant greenery accounts for the valleys wealth of big game animals!
Here you’ll be staying in your private mobile camp; the area is famous for its walking safaris, something you will be able to enjoy whilst staying here on a full board basis!
Day 24:
Today you will have a full day of game activities at the private camp, including superb walking safaris through the area! Overnight you’ll be staying on a full board basis at the private camp.
Day 25:
Another incredibly scenic flight will take you from Mana Pools to Southern Malawi in the Liwonde National Park. Here you’ll be staying at the Mvuu Lodge, nestled discreetly on the banks of the lagoon just off of the Shire River. The main lounge building is set high above the water, providing long views up-river! The accommodation comprises eight tents, each benefitting from an en-suite bathroom and a private viewing platform over the lagoon.
The facilities of the lodge include a dining room, pub, lounge area, wildlife library and a swimming pool! At the Mvuu Lodge you’ll have a great opportunity to see rhino. Overnight you’ll be staying at the Mvuu Lodge on a full board basis.
Day 26:
Today you’ll have a full day of game activities at the Mvuu Lodge. Here you can also make use of the lodges facilities. Overnight you’ll be staying at the Mvuu Lodge on a full board basis.
Day 27:
After a great flight from the wilderness and wildlife, you’ll be heading to the pristine Vamizi Island in Mozambique, one of the most beautiful locations in the Indian Ocean. Despite its location in one of the wildest places on Earth, amongst the Quirimbas Archipelago in the calm waters off the coast of Northern Mozambique, Vamizi offers the very definition of barefoot luxury in Africa.
On the surface, the island is utterly mellow. The ocean around Vamizi, which are private for the Island guests, are bristling with fish and fantastic diving. Some of the diving here is said to be the best in the world; the same can also be said for the deep sea fishing. As well as this, you can also head out on snorkelling trips, castaway picnics, whale watching, kayak trips on the estuary, sunset dhow cruises, nature walks and community visits. All amongst miles of beaches just waiting to be explored.

Day 28 & 29:

Day 30:
This morning, you leave the beautiful Indian Ocean and head North to the superb wilderness on offer in Tanzania, flying to Ruaha, Tanzania’s largest National Park, situated in the south.
In Ruaha you’ll be staying at the Mwagusi Camp deep in the Tanzanian bush, built from organic natural materials with guests treated to a unique tented safari experience. Each of the tents is comfortably secured under a thatched roof on the sandy banks of the Mwagusi River. Often elephants are found visiting the camp!
Overnight, you’ll be staying at the Mwagusi Camp on a full board basis.
Day 31:

Day 32:
Once again a change of scenery as you head from the Ruaha River to the idyllic Island of Zanzibar, and to the private island of Mnemba. This is probably the most beautiful place on the Indian Ocean. From snorkeling, swimming and kayaking, to massages on the beach, to doing nothing at all, Mnemba has something for everyone.
