Route 62 & Garden Route

Depart Cape Town in your rental car on an adventure into South Africa! Head north on the N1 and onto Route 62 to find small towns and big skies. The scenery is rugged and spectacular, the food is generous and hearty, and the people are welcoming and hospitable.

Then you will then aim for the Garden Route coast to experience a whole different scene. Lush green forests, sprawling beaches, lagoons and waterways. You will be in the heart of the Garden Route, staying in Knysna, on the lagoon, and there is so much to see. Finish off with the rest of the Garden Route, heading east and ending in Port Elizabeth for a night. Fly home the next morning via CPT or JNB.

Note: if you would prefer to drive back to Cape Town or fly out of George, these are both options that can be arranged.
