Kenya & Tanzania Safari

Day 1:

As you descend the aircraft steps on arrival at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by a dmAFRICA representative, who will be holding a board with your name on it. You will then be shown to your private transfer vehicle, which will take you to the Arrivals Terminal. Here you will be assisted on a Fast Track basis with immigration, health, customs and baggage collection procedures.

Once you have completed the immigration and customs procedures, you will be escorted to your waiting dmAFRICA driver and vehicle, which will be transferring you to your overnight accommodation at the Ole Sereni Hotel, located a mere 10 minutes from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Overnight, you’ll be staying at the Ole Sereni on a room & breakfast basis in a deluxe room.

Day 2:

This morning, after breakfast at the Ole Sereni, you will be transferred to Nairobi’s Wilson Airport to connect with the scheduled flight to Chyulu Hills. The flight departs Nairobi at 7:30 and arrives into Chyulu Hills at 8:20 (NOTE: Luggage allowance is strictly 15 kilograms per person in soft sided bags).

On arrival at Chyulu Hills Airstrip, you will be met by an open sided 4x4 vehicle and driver from Ol Donyo Lodge who will transfer you to the lodge for your overnight arrangements in a Pool Cottage on a full board basis.

Day 3:

Today you will have a full day of activities at Ol Donyo, which you can take at your own pace to allow you to ease into the African climate and Mother Nature’s lifestyle. The activities that you can enjoy at Ol Donyo include: game drives in an open sided 4x4 vehicle, guided game walks, bush meals and sundowners in surprise locations in the bush. Your overnight arrangement will be at Ol Donyo Lodge in a Pool Cottage.

Day 4:

This morning, after breakfast at Ol Donyo, you’ll be transferred to the Chyulu Airstrip to connect with the scheduled service to Wilson Airport, the flight departs at 08:30 and arrives into Nairobi at 09:50. At Nairobi Wilson Airport, you will connect with your scheduled service flight to Keekorok Airstrip in the world famous Maasai Mara.

On arrival into Keekorok Airstrip, you’ll be met by a driver and vehicle from Cottars 1920’s Camp which will transfer you to the camp with game viewing en route! Overnight you’ll be staying in a luxury safari tent at Cottars on a full board basis.

Day 5:

Today, after breakfast, you’ll enjoy a full day of game drives in the world famous Maasai Mara and the Cottars conservancy! Overnight you’ll be staying at Cottars 1920’s Camp on a full board basis in your luxury tent.

Day 6:

After breakfast at Cottars 1920’s Camp, you’ll depart the camp and be transferred to Keekorok Airstrip where you’ll connect with the scheduled service flight to Migori Airport, departing at 11:30 and arriving into Migori at 12:00. At Migori Airport, you’ll be met by a vehicle and driver from Coastal Aviation, which will transfer you to the Tarime border post, where you’ll enter Tanzania and complete immigration formalities. Your Coastal driver and vehicle will then transfer you to Tarime Airstrip to connect with your flight to Sasakwa Airstrip. The flight leaves Tarime at 13:50 and arrives into Sasakwa at 16:00.

Upon arrival at Sasakwa, you will be met by a Singita driver guide and your open sided 4x4 vehicle, which will transfer you to the Singita Sabora Plains Tented Camp, located on the plains of the private Grumeti Reserves. After lunch you will head out for game activities within the Grumeti Private Reserves, where only Singita clients are allowed. The experience is such that you will feel as if you’re the only persons using this vast area. Your overnight arrangements will be at Singita Sabora Tented Camp in a luxury tent.

Day 7 & 8:

Today you will have a full day of game activities within the Grumeti Private Reserves with your Singita open sided 4x4 vehicle and guide. Your overnight arrangements will be at Singita Sabora Plains Tented Camp on a full board basis.

Day 9:

This morning, after breakfast at Singita Sabora, you shall depart the Grumeti Reserves and head into the world famous Serengeti National Park! Here, you shall be heading to the Serengeti Pioneers Camp with game viewing en route in your private dmAFRICA 4x4 vehicle with driver guide.

In the afternoon at Serengeti Pioneers Camp, you shall be heading out for game activities within the Serengeti National Park in your dmAFRICA 4x4 vehicle. Overnight you’ll be staying at Serengeti Pioneers Camp in a standard tent on a full board basis.

Day 10:

Today you shall have a full day of game activities within the Serengeti National Park in your private dmAFRICA 4x4 vehicle. Overnight, you shall be staying at Serengeti Pioneers Camp in a standard tent on a full board basis.

Day 11:

After breakfast at Serengeti Pioneer, your dmAFRICA driver and vehicle shall transfer you south, to the lush Ngorongoro Highlands, where you’ll see the Tanzanian landscape change rapidly until you reach the Ngorongoro Highlands, here you shall be staying at the Ngorongoro Crater Lodge, perched high upon the Ngorongoro Craters rim in your luxury suite on a full board basis.

Day 12:

After breakfast at the Ngorongoro Crater Lodge you shall be heading to the world famous Ngorongoro Crater floor for a half day safari in your dmAFRICA 4x4 vehicle. In the crater, you have a great chance at seeing rhino, one of the ‘Big 5’ (being elephant, lion, buffalo, leopard and rhino). The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact caldera in the world.

In the afternoon, you’ll depart the crater and make the ascent, then heading to your overnight accommodation at The Ngorongoro Crater Lodge. You’ll be staying at The Ngorongoro Crater Lodge in a suite overnight, on a full board basis.

Day 13:

This morning, you’ll depart the Ngorongoro Crater Lodge and be driven in your private dmAFRICA 4x4 vehicle to the Kilimanjaro International Airport to connect with your onward international arrangements.
