With some of the most scenic stretches of road around, South Africa is a road bike experience like no other. An ideal location for any cycling enthusiast, there are endless road cycling tour routes to experience in this natural wonderland of incomparable beauty.
The 5-Day Tour du Cap is South Africa’s premier road cycling stage event, and caters for amateurs and pros. The Tour takes place on the beautiful roads of the Boland district in the Cape Winelands in early March each year and encompasses a total distance of 464km and 5245m vertical ascent over 5 days.
We have closely replicated the daily stages of this tour in order for keen cyclists not wanting or able to take part in the race to experience these scenic routes. This is one of the most unbelievable ways to see the interior of the Cape. With the tour going right around the Hottentots Holland Mountains, this shows off the raw natural beauty of the area.

You will be finished cycling each day around lunch time, allowing time to explore the area.
Whether you are travelling as an indivudual, a couple or a part of a group (up to a comfortable maximum of 10 people), you will be lead by a qualified cycling guide, with a back-up support vehicle, allowing you the freedom to fully enjoy and take in your surroundings with peace of mind.
