The lodge comprises 5 buildings and all the buildings are built in traditional Norwegian mountain style. Other amenities include a fully licensed bar, relaxing lounge, in house restaurant, small souvenir shop outdoor Jacuzzi and sauna.

Gargia Lodge has a total of 12 guest rooms divided in double/twin rooms, apartment, studio, cottages and all with it owns distinctive décor and style. All units are individual fitted and have en suite bathroom and shower.

All our guests room are situated on the ground floor.

Only 30 minutes from Alta city centre, between the arctic tundra and the arctic sea you will find Gargia Lodge, close to nature, and is the perfect place to start your arctic adventure. Gargia Lodge offers activities such as snowmobiling, snowshoe hiking with icefishing, Northern Light tours and sled dog tours during winter. During summer we offer mountain bike rental, hiking tour to a nearby waterfall Orrvos and to Northern Europes largest canyon; Sautso Canyon.

In the main house you will find a shared lounge with books, board games and puzzles. We have a fully licensed bar, a small souvenir shop and and our in house restaurant where you can enjoy the dish of the day. Enjoy a relaxing moment in our outdoor Jacuzzis.

All our rooms are equipped with modern facilities and have private bathroom with shower. Free wifi is available in all rooms and common areas.
