Rwanda, the country of a Thousand Hills is truly a beautiful country. This journey will take the through the forests of Rwanda in Nyungwe and Volcanoes national park. The onto the Savanna of Akagera National Park. This itinerary has some active elements and requires quite a bit of trekking after primates. The Kayak and canoe experiences are pretty amazing and it is highly recommended that you do this.
Driving through Rwanda gives one a clear picture of the lie of the land and it is impressive to see how neat and clean the streets and surrounding areas are kept. Plastic bags are banned in Rwanda and monthly country wide cleanup days is an obligatory activity by all the citizens.
