Introduction

  • Tapir lodge is located in the pristine flooded forests of the Cuyabeno wildlife Reserve – a fabulous isolated place for observing nature and meeting native indigenous groups!
  • Instead of the traditional ground-floor cabins that you find in most of the lodges, Tapir Lodge have built two towers each 15 meters high, to bring the wildlife experience closer.
  • Tapir Lodge uses alternative energies, implementing an excellent way of creating their own energy, with no impact to the environment. Solar panels keep your cameras and phones charged 24-7.
  • The Tapir Lodge tour combines excellent wildlife-spotting, with a cultural experience at the local Siona community, including a fascinating cleansing ceremony performed by the community shaman healer.
