Natural Wonders of Costa Rica with the ODC Explorer Network: March 21-31, 2026

Introduction

March 21-31, 2026

Embark on an adventure to Costa Rica, the 15th most biologically diverse country worldwide! Prepare to be swept off your feet by its stunning natural beauty. Despite being as big as West Virginia, this tiny wonderland is bursting at the seams with 4.5% of the world's plant and animal species! Get ready to dive into a wildlife extravaganza - from unusual amphibians to charismatic mammals, unique reptiles to striking birds, and even a mind-boggling 35,000 insect species. With twelve diverse ecosystems, including rainforests, cloud forests, volcanoes, and mangroves, Costa Rica is a paradise for nature lovers.

To maximize your sightseeing experience, the group will travel by tour bus for the duration of the trip. They will be accompanied by a Costa Rican guide who is bi-lingual and well-versed in the flora and fauna of the country.

This experience has been coordinated in conjunction with our friends and travel experts from Horizontes Nature Tours in Costa Rica. Your ODC host for the trip will be Jamie Krupka who can be reached for questions by phone 616.368.9677 or email: jamie@outdoordiscovery.org.
