This three-night adventure begins with the train’s departure from the mighty Victoria Falls. The following day begins with a game drive at The Hide before travelling south along one of the world’s longest stretches of straight railway line where further wildlife can be spotted from the train as you traverse the Hwange National Park – 114 kilometres from Dete and Gwaai. Passing Bulawayo enroute to the border at Beitbridge. Cross the Tropic of Capricorn and travel south through Nylstroom and Warmbaths before arriving on day 4 at the Rovos Rail Station in Pretoria.
Depending upon railway capacity, this journey could be routed through Botswana.
