Welcome to Busanga Safaris' unforgettable journey through Nepal's vibrant culture and diverse wildlife.
Embark on a holistic experience with us in Nepal, where the journey is a lot more than wildlife spotting. While Nepal is indeed home to the majestic Bengal tiger and our itinerary includes both Chitwan and Bardia National Parks, both renowned for their tiger conservation efforts, this is just one facet of our comprehensive adventure.
In Bardia, we gain an insightful glimpse into the lives of the local Tharu community and their interactions with the natural world. We will walk in the community forest; alongside fields growing crops and vegetables; and pass by colourful houses and temples. We include a visit with a local conservation group and some of the villagers who coexist with tigers, to understand the challenges and triumphs of life alongside these magnificent creatures.
Our itinerary is carefully designed to balance wildlife encounters with cultural immersion. You'll have the opportunity to:
Engage in Walking Safaris: Explore Nepal's wilderness on foot and via traditional game drives, led by knowledgeable wildlife experts. Nepal is the only country where you can walk on foot in a National Park where wild tigers roam. We stand an equal chance of seeing tigers on foot as we do by jeep.
Experience Diverse Wildlife: In addition to Royal Bengal Tigers, we will look for species like the One-horned Rhinoceros, Asian Elephants, multiple deer species, Langur and Macaque Monkeys and a rich variety of birdlife.
Explore Remote, Lesser-Known Areas: We will venture into the less-crowded Bardia National Park for a truly authentic experience.
Discover Nepal's Scenic Beauty: From lush Sal forests, and open grasslands to riverine plains, the diverse landscapes are simply breathtaking.
Immerse in Nepalese Culture: Wander the bustling streets of Kathmandu and Bhaktarpur, explore ancient temples, and delve into the country's rich traditions.
While tiger sightings are always a matter of luck, our tour is about much more than these elusive big cats. It's a deep dive into the heart of Nepal offering a genuine and intimate look at this vibrant country.
Join us for a unique blend of cultural and wildlife experiences underpinned by our commitment to responsible tourism and preserving both nature and local communities.
