The Okavango Delta has two distinctly different types of safari camps. Land facing camps game view predominantly by vehicle with occasional walks. Camps that are surrounded by water are the quintessential Okavango experience. Activities are mainly centred around poling along waterways in mokoro (dug-out canoe), or motor boating.
This safari is a delightful mixture of both types of camps with the first two nights on the edge of the Okavango Delta in a land based camp, followed by two nights in the very heart of the delta region, drifting lazily along the waterlily clad waterways.
The final three nights are close to the Savute Channel in the western part of the Linyanti, an area renowned for its elephants, lions and professional guides. A number of different habitats attract healthy predator numbers and seasonal wildlife concentrations.
