Argentina has its own legendary highway: Route 40. Stretching from the Bolivian border to the far south of Patagonia, it runs the length of the country along the imposing Andes, linking vast deserts, lush forests, and diverse cultures.
This trip follows the spirit of that iconic route, exploring the highlights of the Andes. You'll experience Salta's unique Puna landscapes, Mendoza's world-class wineries, Bariloche's alpine lakes, and the hiking mecca of El Chaltén. The adventure continues south to the Perito Moreno Glacier in El Calafate, Chile's Torres del Paine National Park, and finally, Ushuaia—the city at the end of the world.
While buses must bypass some of Route 40's remote gravel sections, this remains a true lifetime adventure.
Note: This trip can also be organized from south to north.
