Day One.
A scenic self-drive from Cape Town to Benguela Cove Wine Estate where you will enjoy wine tasting/pairing/cellar tour of your choice.
Arrival at Mosaic Lagoon Lodge in the afternoon.
Enjoy & relax with your welcome drink while admiring the beautiful surroundings.
Quad biking tour is a fun and different way of discovering all this stunning nature reserve has to offer. Other activities at set times during the day include;
• SUP - Stand Up Padding Boarding - on the Hermanus Lagoon (lessons are an extra charge).
• Boat Cruise & Kayaking – Bird watching. Weather dependent.
•Fat Bikes & Mountain Bikes
• Guided nature walks exploring birds and flora of the Cape Floral Kingdom.
• Archaeological Cave Tour at the beach.
Dinner at Mosaic Lagoon Lodge.
Day Two.
Whale Watching with Dyer Island Cruises in the morning with a visit to Panthera in the afternoon. Lunch stop en-route (not included).
The area surrounding Dyer Island and Shark Alley is the world famous home of the Marine Big 5. Depending on the time of year, you have the chance to see whales, dolphins, cape fur seals, African penguins and great white sharks, potentially in a single trip. An absolute must-see destination for wildlife photographers.
Lunch at Mosaic Lagoon Lodge (picnics can also be arranged)
Panthera Africa is a sanctuary for big cats and people in the Western Cape that helps to create a secure, safe and prosperous home for captive big cats and raising awareness about ethical and holistic animal treatment. You will see and learn about many wildcats including lions, leopards, and even tigers.
Day Three.
Morning visit to Hermanus or experience one of the following horse-riding, mountain biking, canoeing in the Stanford area in the morning before heading back to Cape Town with lunch en-route (not included).
Afternoon: return to Cape Town
PS. This itinerary is set up as a self-drive option but a local guide/driver can be arranged at an extra cost.
